Repair Consultancy

Strengthening design support from engineers who have the measured damage in front of them.

Design from measured damage.

A strengthening design needs quantities: how much section is lost, over what area, on which member. Most repair designs estimate these from photographs and a written description. Ours take them from the survey.

Damage volume

Spalled concrete is measured as a volume, not described as light or severe. That volume becomes the repair quantity.

Element by element

Damage is attached to named BIM elements, so the design addresses specific members rather than zones.

One record

Our engineers and yours work in the same twin, so the inspection data goes straight into the design.

What we do.

We support your design team. We do not carry out the repair.

Root cause

Why the damage is there. Corrosion, overload, thermal movement and water ingress each need a different repair.

Repair quantities

Take-offs derived from the measured damage, member by member.

Method advice

Which strengthening approach suits the member, the access and the service condition.

Prioritisation

What has to be done now, what can wait, and what only needs watching.

Drawing support

We work with your design team and supply the model they need to detail against.

Post-repair survey

A re-survey after the work to confirm the repair worked.

Who does the work.

Structural engineers, advised by faculty from the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Madras. Their field is concrete durability and repair.

Send us your inspection data if you have it. If you do not, we start with a survey. We reply within one working day.
